The Imaginarium is a simple but addicting card game. It is based not on complex boring rules, but on work with imagination and associative thinking.

The game consists of cards with intricate surreal designs. After several games, the players will have fun, argue violently and be puzzled by the strange images of each other.

General Information

  • Age: officially – from 12 years old, but the game will be interesting for younger children.
  • Number of players: from 4 to 7.
  • Duration of one game: variably, on average 45 minutes.
  • Suitable for: family, friends, colleagues.

Rules Of The Game

Players are dealt five cards. According to the rules, one of the players becomes the leader and lays out his card face down. Then the main part of the Imaginarium begins. The presenter tries to describe the drawing on the laid out map through associations and metaphors. Other participants choose the most appropriate card from their hand for the description and also put it face down.

All cards on the table are shuffled and laid face up. The players compare the drawings and try to determine which of the cards the leader had. The description should not be too simple, but also not complicated, otherwise the presenter will be fined.

The winner is the one who best “tells” the cards and guesses the metaphors of friends. The counting is carried out through a special playing field.
